Short Description:
A decayed lynxpoint molly.
Long Description:
Many ghosts tend to be less obvious they're dead. Littlespider is not that. She heavily contrasts her living appearance, being rather pretty and generally very lively in appearence. She keeps her grey lynxpoint fur, her stripes akin to webs, and warm blue eyes that appear purple. In her death, though, half her facial fur is gone with her ear torn and eye bulging and discolored. Her jaw hangs off with her tongue typically off to the side. She's got multiple patches that expose organs or bone, like her throat and ribs. Her left leg is partially only bone, and her right is degloved. Her tail and spine also feature some degloving. The particularly scary thing is that ghosts like her tend to show her mechanism of death, not what happened after they died.
Ex-Mates: Blackberry, Ashrain, Hazeface
Littlespider has a lengthier relationship history then most. A lot of cats she was mates with that just did not last long, outside of them there were many cats she courted but never got that far too. She is a lover at heart, even if she was not always the best in them. Blackberry and Hazeface both went to Starclan, she feels nothing about either of them now truly, but Ashrain not only outlived her but persisted after death. He stayed far away from her initially, not even recognizing it was her for moons, but eventually they became amicable. He was still distant, as if he were afraid of her on some level that wasn't visual, or maybe just scared of other cats. She didn't mind, because there is something about him she still doesn't trust.
Daughters: Whistlekit, Howlkit, Chirpkit, and Morninghowl
Littlespider's biological kits reside in Starclan, strictly, and aren't allowed to visit their mother for reasons that become obvious upon learning what she did to them. Littlespider loves them, dearly, she always had, and it's likely they still love her too, but it's been decades and there's still no positive outlook there.
In a grim way, Morninghowl is sort of a replacement daughter. A do over. At least Morninghowl doesn't see it that way. Littlespider sees a good amount of herself in Morninghowl, though. Both mollies having their own struggles in their society that had similar roots even if they weren't analogous. It made Littlespider pretty invaluable, as did her genuine affection to a cat that did not get it from most of the living world.
Kit-In-Law: Pyriteblaze
...
Littlespider's life is the story of someone failed by the society she lived in and the game rigged against her from the start.
Long ago a little kitty did something unexplainable in the afterlife's eyes, she killed her own young kits and mate. Since she died, she's been reborn, but with a little more taken away from the cat at the core. Each time though, that remnent of the cat might've dulled, but many were doomed to make the same mistakes, give or take.
Still, the core of the problem was oft times the clans themselves. That core was very, very prone to delusions, falling for conspiracy theories and paranoia, all generally being reliant on their clans to help and wrestle them out of rabbit holes but never getting what they needed.
Littlespider was always a naturally kind and loving soul, she was an accomplished huntress and had more then a few love affairs. However, she feel just like her foremothers had into bouts of believing all sorts of conspiracy theories and rocky mental health. She had public outbursts, but as is the case with a lot of conspiracies, a lot of cats had incentive to either ignore her or fuel the flames.
Littlespider's flames were by enough cats that she fell into the serious belief that her mate was going to do something vaguely terrible to her kits, she had to save them from him and the parts of the clan that would help him. None of it was true, of course, but when the time was neigh, she killed her kits to protect them.
That gruesome act was enough to rock the clan into all out civil war, add in a poorly timed natural disaster, and it killed the clan outside of a handful of what there once was that dissipated. Littlespider suffered her own wounds from it, severe enough for them to assume she had died, and bury her. Unfortunately for Littlespider, she was still alive.
That was lifetimes ago.
She's gotten some improvements, some points getting much worse. It can be debated for days how much of her actions were her fault, but she's resigned to live in a purgatory of being a ghost instead of descending to the dark forest. Particularly since her afterlife has gotten a few shifting meanings since then.
